The Brisbane Big Band played its first gig at the Brisbane Jazz Club on Thursday 27 June 1974 and has continued to perform regularly at the club, as the resident ‘house band’, ever since.  The band currently performs at the club on the second Sunday of every month.

The BBB includes some of Brisbane’s finest musicians continuing the proud tradition of presenting the best in big band jazz, swing, Latin and original compositions at the BJC, and  is often in demand for appearances at various other venues and events.
